I have over 20 years’ experience in marketing and advertising working with iconic, intelligent brands who require a customer-focussed approach.

All experience gained during my career has fostered a clarity of thought, a problem-solving approach and the informed confidence to troubleshoot a wide range of issues. I propose solutions that can be implemented smoothly and result in maximum impact.

Valuable Experience

At Fettes College, one of the UK’s leading boarding schools, I developed the worldwide marketing strategy focussing on evaluation, ROI and recruitment objectives. Additional responsibilities included proactive and reactive PR, community engagement, visual identity, customer service and relationship management. Managing two departments, hiring and mentoring, I gained valuable insight into team structure and dynamics and how it interplays with the successful delivery of strategic objectives.

At 1576 Advertising as an Account Director, my clients included: VisitScotland, National Trust for Scotland, National Museums of Scotland and Gleneagles - strong, Scottish brands with excellent strategic focus and objectives. I was responsible for all aspects of day-to-day client management including full involvement in strategic planning, the creative briefing process, financial management and project managements for my clients advertising campaigns for TV, press, radio, outdoor and ambient.

Working at Saatchi & Saatchi London as a Graduate Recruit, I gained a thorough grounding in client services and core advertising principles with clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Merial and Danone. Fastidious project management was key.

At Wonderworks, I developed skills in brand strategy, customer engagement, event planning, new product development and launch strategies.
